PRIVATE SECTOR
We can submit planning applications for major complex sites and negotiate planning conditions and Section 106 Agreement terms. We have made successful planning appeals on behalf of clients. We are experienced in co-ordinating the submission of planning application supporting statements, including economic, environmental and transport impact assessments and sequential tests.
We can support the regeneration of brownfield and the development of appropriate greenfield sites by understanding the policy context, specifying land use and design parameters and promoting sites through the planning process. We are able to advise on demand potential, development mix, and pricing and to test market design features for new developments and assist in the negotiation of appropriate charges under the Community Infrastructure Fund regulations.
Clients in the private sector include landowners, utilities, commercial and residential property companies.
PUBLIC SECTOR
For the public sector, for example, we can undertake local economic assessments and translate the findings into objectives for sustainable growth strategies including area regeneration frameworks and associated economic interventions. Framework guidance will include policy formulation, project specification, delivery mechanisms and implementation. Such initiatives may include the site specific development priorities, land use mix and infrastructure patterns complemented by guidance on the attraction and retention of investment, business growth initiatives and workforce development.
We have commercial surveying expertise that can undertake development feasibility studies and appraisals. We can provide advice on procurement of development and the making of funding applications.
Clients in the public sector include Government Offices, Regional Development Agencies and Local Authorities at County, Borough and District level.
